What is the Leaders of Today Council?
The Leaders of Today Council (LTC) is collaborative group led by youth activists and adult allies with a common interest in supporting youth leadership in Hampshire County and disrupting adultism.
How did the Leaders of Today Council begin?
The beginning of LTC dates back to the summer of 2021, when Lexi and T from the Collaborative for Educational Services held two virtual Youth Leadership Community Conversations. Since then, an interested group of 6-7 Hampshire County youth formed the LTC, and has been working hard to create this LTC website! You can learn a bit more about us by clicking here.
Why should I get involved with LTC?
In short: Think of this website as a big youth activism social network in Hampshire County!

In long: To make it as easy as possible for a young person in our communities to access youth leadership activism and opportunities, it is important that all the local youth groups, opportunities/events, and resources are listed in one place.. This website! The LTC can also help individually connect interested local youth who have certain areas of activism to groups that are working on those issues.
How can I list my youth group on this website?
We are always open to adding more groups to our website and would love to have your youth group website as an addition to all the groups we already have. If you have a desire to share your group through our website please fill out this form.

We are a small group of Hampshire County youth and adults. Check out our bios on our About Us page!
First off what is the LTC newsletter? The LTC newsletter is an email that is sent out at the start of each month. In the LTC newsletter, there is information about youth events and opportunities in the upcoming month, recent news, a spotlight on local youth leaders, and just boat loads of information. Now how do you sign up? Fill out THIS Google Form. Simple as that!
How can I get involved with one of the youth groups listed?
For most youth groups listed there will be an email listed for you to connect. And if you have trouble with that you can always email us with any questions on how to contact them and then we can help you get in touch with them.
I have an idea for tackling an issue that I care about. How can I create youth group and recruit other youth in the area to it?
Let us know! We can help you recruit youth in our monthly LTC newsletters. We also have a Discord Channel that you can directly access and ask others in Hampshire County if they would want to collaborate with you to tackle the issue you care about.
